Well - tried the store.

Unfortunately they're out & don't know when they're coming in. Very friendly though. Wasn't sure if they're actual red jerseys with the stripes (on the sleeves) or not. Asked if we could get any specific # on them & no luck there either - only 11. My son wants #17 for M. Sanders. Also asked if we could purchase one with 'no #' & no luck there either. I'll have the # sown on here in Calif. then. Well, back to the drawing board.

Does anyone think the athletic dept. would sell a jersey to us?

I would scour e-Bay. There are all kinds of SMU jerseys on e-Bbay, some authentic, some replicas, some I have no idea where they came from.

Of course, finding a No. 17 will be problematic. If you just HAVE to have a No. 17 SMU jersey, your best bet is to find someone who supplies jerseys to youth football teams and have a "custom" jersey made. I bet you can get as close as the Bookstore does with its replicas. Some of the youth football jerseys around here are high-quality stuff.

If we still wore blue, you could just order a custom Bills jersey from the NFL shop. What we wear now is the Bills jersey in red.

Let your displeasure about SMU's B&N bkstore be known to Julie Wiksten in Auxiliary Services.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

Obviously, we still have a set of blues since the starting line-ups on the video board feature players in our blue game jersey. Maybe we'll bust'em out again this season. However, we've only won one game in them.

Absolutely. But at the same time, the bookstore should stock more than 2-3 types of red t-shirts to begin with. 90% of their clothing should be red or blue, as opposed to mostly white/black/gray/pink that they stock now.
