Anyone else remember who won? Nice video, but we lost. I don't want to remember it.

Did we accept a 2nd place Trophy as well!!!!!

I thought it was a Brillo pad.

Thank you so much for saying... but give credit where credit is due. I want to hire this guy - this stuff is gold! I just watched it again... and could watch it a few more times. The shot at the 59 second mark with the ref is gold, and the the slo-mo of the M and the U of SMU flags going passed the crowd, plus the shot of the fans after was really evocative. I also love the lone trombone player - for some reason that shot hit me.

...

So if you want to give me any credit, I'll quote what Orsini says when he introduces me/any time we are in the same room together - "Thaddeus was there when no one else was, he took the first number-" I interrupt to say it was number zero, "- and we were like, what does he know that we don't know?" Or some such.

I always interject that I was making a movie on the DP and whether or not we won last year or not, I wanted to be there to film it.

I am just glad to see this stuff being done on SMU... hey, how can I not be glad? This picture is about to give me a career - and now other people are taking up the mantle of shooting games with style and panache.

... and in this case shooting games with real pro flare. This thing is extremely well shot.

...

But thank you again, ponyboy, I'm now trying to see if we can get All Grit. No Quit. as a special feature on the Pony Excess DVD... don't hold your breath as it's going to cost a ton of money (spent on rights for footage and music), but I'm floating the idea.
