Does a scrimmage against ourselves really tell that much?

Post by PonySnob »

Yes, the offense put up 42 points against the second "D" but does that really tell that much about what can be expected of this team? The drop-off between first team and second team huge. Is the poor play of Massey today a reflection of the second team OL or is the first team "D" that good? It was clear today that Munlin is the 1st team RB, but if he goes down, is there a huge drop-off to Massey?

No it doesn't. What's your point? Every school in the nation has a spring game against themselves.
