padron really needed a game like this where he could get really comfortable in the pocket and just throw the ball around. he really hasn't had that earlier in the season. too many high pressure situation games

True, hard to expect much progress from him playing teams like Tech and TCU. He didn't look great in the other 2 games but he didn't make mistakes and made enough plays to win. He hasn't thrown a pick in SMU's 3 games versus inferior opponents.
