Yes its been there for a couple of years-I have to drive I-45 every couple of weeks. Anybody stop off at the Mustang Club-I-45 version?

Nope but I saw a TCU billboard near Houston
on the way down on 45. Thought
that was kind of weird.

There was also a UNT billboard a little after that TCU one on 45 in Houston. Both were surprising to see.

I didn't see one cop on my way back today, probably a good thing they didn't see me either.

TCU has had billboards on I-45 for years, but the UNT ones are recent.

for the money, I'd put the billboards on I-35 -that's where the recruits are

Whose property is that? I saw the tailor a couple of months ago and was wondering who put it up. Somebody spent some good money on that signage. Very cool.

Cox uses the post-it billboards southbound at 75 & Royal or so and 75 & Midpark. No logo, just lettering, two colors.

Depending on the market, billboards can run 1200 a month to a whole lot more, depending on the traffic, how many, and what's on them.

I like UHouston's billboard campaign "you are the pride." Had a photo of someone well accomplished or well known. SMU would do well to have a similar campaign around town. I would say use non-SMU but well-known Dallas folks all with a similar theme. Or have well known SMU alums with a theme. Something like "Saturday and College Football. I'll be at Ford...will you?" Then a stock photo of ford and the 'celebrity spokesperson's' likeness

It would be great to get a billboard collection going - strictly just for billboard campaign

I've seen SMU Continuing Education also using that billboard.

UNT has one on 75 as well (at Forest?). Says something like "We have over 150,000 alumni in DFW (We'll get you a job!)"

UNT has one at Keller Springs and the Tollway too. The one on Central is pretty bland but high traffic obviously.
