Not too surprising, Indiana is his only BCS offer, they throw the ball around a lot there and it's about 3 hours away from Dayton. Wouldn't be surprised to see him garnering a lot more interest leading up to signing day.

IU isn't even the second best in Indiana. You have ND and Purdue way above them academically.

There are some excellent programs at IU. Perhaps he is looking at majoring through the Kinsey Institute.

ND, yes. Purdue, it depends upon the program. For engineering, Purdue is head and shoulders above IU. For business, IU is head and shoulders above Purdue. Generally, Purdue is better in the "hard" sciences, while IU is better in the social sciences/business.

Both schools are easier to get into than SMU...used to be just a little now its a lot...
