OLB Marcus Brown

Paris, TX. H.S. OLB Brown measured at 6' 2 214, ran a 4.55/40 and vertical jumped 33" at the A&M Nike camp this past Saturday. He is also the school's all-time record holder in the 20 yard shuttle (over SMU signee Jessie Henderson). He and a couple of other Class of 2005 PHS players (CB Quen Smith and NT-C Bryan Glass) are being closely watched by SMU among many others.

That's pretty good size and speed for an OLB. Not overwhelming, but pretty darn good. If he's also a player, as opposed to merely an athlete, he's well worth keeping an eye on.

What's Brown's first name? And you mention that he's among a group of players SMU is watching -- how much interest does he have in us?
