Briefly: Many Mavericks were already in town. Those who weren't trickled in and had physicals, which went routinely. ... Two-a-days will commence Tuesday at SMU's spiffy basketball practice facility.

The frosh are pretty excited by the Mavs deal, as evidenced by their facebook updates. I think many pro's have been running pick-up at Crum since summer 2. I know Bosh ran some etc

Kurt Thomas is in Dedman all the time shooting as well.

Maybe it could become Atlanta's Run-n-Shoot for Dallas ballers.

Hoops gym chicago is where all thr pros used to play pick-up...

our firm would rent a court there and it would be no surprise seeing jordan, pip, others, just finishing or showing up to play...

It was Tim grovers gym...MJs personal trainer...

Grover started Attack Athletics, I believe, which is state of the art. Maryland has a similar situation in that pro's run by Comcast all the time. Last year, saw Gilbert Arenas, Mike Beasley and Kevin Durant in the same day. Good stuff. Awhile back Leslee was talking about Crum runs on facebook, and the visitor list that day was impressive. Also, Dom Jones of the Mavs loves lil JFrog. I guess they are from the same county, but Jones called Frog out for working hard the other day.

Back when we were there the runs in Dedman were legendary. The best bball on campus was never in Moody...always the offseason runs in the D!

J Kidd, Randy White, Tony Dumas, Aguirre, tons of overseas guys, the best of the best SMU alum. It was hard to get on the court...and once you were on...you fought like hell to stay on cuz you might not get another chance!
