Good, at least it won't be a wet rainy day for the game, which wouldn't bode well for SMU...

Problem last time was not only the rain but the gale force winds.

We are better this time on defense. Or corners and SS can support against the run as well as anyone in the country and our LBs are monsters with speed. this will not be like the last two meetings. And our receivers can definitely take advantage of their secondary since we now have a running game.

Yes, I agree with George S Patton that Navy scares the Hades out of me. But this time we bring a much better and well rounded team to this contest.

They have downgraded the high temp to 65. Still mostly sunny. Field could be wet because it looks like it's supposed to pour on Thursday and Thursday night.

Thursday: Rain. High near 64. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Thursday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Friday: A chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.

My suggestion is do not eat Dippin Dots in the rain at the Navy game. Not so good 2 years ago.

Bring airport mini's. (For sale in most Maryland liquor stores). Schnapps is always a good choice for a chilly day.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

False, mint chocolate dippin dots are great in any weather.

weather.com is wrong more often than not. I learned that in Ron Jackson's meteorology class. Then we did a lab that showed that weather.com was the second least reliable predictor of weather in the metroplex, with the least reliable being one of the TV stations (forget which one...maybe it was Ron Jackson's own Fox 4).

Our field is FieldTurf and it drains pretty well. Hopefully that won't be a concern.

Hope many of you can make the trip this weekend.

I think the concern is that we enjoy slinging the ball around, and can't do that effectively in the rain.
