Great. Finish strong this year, start getting some impact TX recruits and we will be #1 next year!. Don't believe then just look at the two-deep and with experience and depth at QB, OL and DL with some talented athletes at the other positions. TCU will be breaking in an untested QB, Ut will be trying to remain positive after an 9-4 or 8-5 season and Alamo Bowl loss. A&M wil be in turmoil after a 5 or 6 win season and possible coaching change as will Baylor. TT will be trying to buyout Tuberville and mend fences with Leach. Houston will try to regroup with a mended Keenum back. Utep loses QB. Rice is Rice.

UT will be a top ten team again next year with one full year under Gilbert's belt. TCU might fall a bit into the 15 range. With some luck we could see top 25. Tech will require one more year to adjust to Tuberville's system. Baylor might sniff top 25. Houston might sniff top 25.

I don't think A$M is that strong again this year. They don't look that impressive. BU, SMU, and TCU are mush improved as a group. It wasn't long ago that TCU was up and coming and SMU and BU were conference bottom feeders.

Don't know if we are 3, 4 or 5 but we are certainly much improved and capable of playing with anyone in the state. We couldn't say that two years ago.

Progress is so much better than wishful thinking.

I've been in two gameday fights in my life (well, ok, three if you count that high school one). Both were with Arkansas fans, who were the most obnoxious "humans" I ever encountered. One particularly charming pig was taunting SMU fans -- at our stadium -- when they took out Ramon Flanigan on a stretcher.
