I am willing to bet that Muir's never seen an American football game with that level of intensity. It had to be impressive for him.

Just to give the readers here an update; after a lot of consideration Blake has decided to attend the Uni of Hawaii next year.

There were a lot of things to consider and he informed Coach Reinebold yesterday. Hawaii had the advantage of the positional coach there being able to establish a very good repore last spring with Blake and I feel that was the determining factor. No doubt that SMU has a tremendous campus and program burgeoning on more and more success. Blake and his family went back and forth a little in their minds and came to a decision. It was not taken lightly or without anxiety, as the two options each had their strengths.

I'm sure that SMU will be able to make a very good offer to an extremely worthy and talented player for 2011.

It has been a busy week for the WDNWHA Committee. Good luck to him.

I know we lost, but there's no way a prospective student-athlete could see that Boulevard and feel that game atmosphere and question his commitment. Except for the score, it was a fantastic day/evening at Ford Stadium!

Well I guess we all speculate incorrectly sometimes.

Much closer to home. He was a major project anyway. I hope he is successful.

Thanks for your comments and keeping us up to date. Hope Blake does well, but we are obviously disapointed in the reversal of his commitment.

I have no idea who this kid is.

Was he committed to us and switched?

Yes, it was reported that he had committed to us. He is from Australia, little football experience, but quite an athlete. He was recruited by Jeff R. He even got a two-star rating. Appartently he and his family came to SMU (is this confirmed?) for the TCU game and then he committed to Hawaii who was also in the running. Disappointing in that we had our best "party dress" on for him that weekend.
