My theory: if you're QB is 5-11, he'd better run a 4.3 to stay alive. If he runs a 4.8, he'd better be 6-5 and 235 pounds.

Well, sure, there are exceptions -- Drew Brees is no track star, and he's also small, and he's still in one piece (albeit in danger of losing his job to a rookie) -- but I agree with Corso. Unless a player's unbelievably productive, I'd shy away from guys who aren't at least big OR fast. Don't have to be both, but I'd say they should be at least one or the other.

We've got our HP-bred QB (Webb) - if we ever had interest in this Smith kid, let's spend the scholarship that might have gone his way on a guy at another position: OL, DE or WR. (Then again, as is often pointed out, maybe the guy has more interest in SMU than SMU has in him....)
