Huskers used to be criminals, past tense, cows are criminals, present tense.

I doubt that is true at all.

I am going to do some quick research in the local papers in Lincoln and probably find things that ESPN has chosen not to report because they have other things going on.

what in the world are you using at "present tense" the last 6 seasons? or this one?

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

When it comes to UT it actually helps with the marital bliss. All the other times it's just for fun.

Those Longhorns have short memories. Let me refresh. Their offensive cdoordinator, Davis, was just about to be the downfall of Mack Brown and his loyalty to the aforementioned before the magical feet of VY took over and saved their jobs. Remember, Vince was struggling as was the team and they couldn't beat OU because they were trying to transform VY into the prototypical qb. Then the recruiting surged higher and they got lucky with Mccoy instead after Perriloux's last-minute defection to LSU.Now they are back to the same pre- Vince problems.

I was incorrect... they were both this year. One in January and one just a couple weeks ago.

correlation is not causation, but....

i see our team's "trouble" with the law as being a positive sign for more W's per season in the near future.

Give me break..........ut players have ALWAYS been known to do illegal things---like being paid for summer jobs where they never worked, free housing. We can't put a timeline on their illegal ways. I love winning and am so excited to be on the right track, but I don't want it to come w/us having a bunch of thugs/criminals on our team so I am hoping RednBLue11's reference to our team's trouble meaning more W's for us is way off track!
