As I remember, the same questions came up when Coach B. hired our new asst. coaches.

They are not announcing - Oh no.

They rejected the job offer - Oh no

Wrong, SMU is very PC and to look like the job was open we post it for X days. Period.

Not much longer to wait.

None. He's looking at college assistants that have had success recruiting Texas (Dallas and Houston, mostly).

Tubbs was hired March 26. The 30 days runs from date of posting-which means it should be any day.

possibly-but this is speculation-the coach may be an assistant with another school which hasn't completed its recruiting class-perhaps they agreed to wait until the spring signing period is over before announcing. This happens fairly often.

I think it's ridiculous that an announcement hasn't been made on this. This was supposed to be made quickly then it was supposed to made by the end of April. I hope it's this weekend.

I didn't think of that.

I'm guessing his staff will look something like this:

Lineburg (1st Assist)
a current college assistant (perhaps the one causing the holdup)
a current HS coach (Bishop, Johnson, or Bacon)
