Once again, I have to agree with George Smith Patton, Navy scares the Hades out of me.

I have been so frightfully scare of this game that a forfeit is a relief.

Thank goodness I don't have to worry myself sick anymore aobut Navy anc can go straight to bed wetting about Houston.

Sure we can beat them — give us a mulligan on one field goal, and we beat them last year.

Besides, as long as our current coaching staff is in place, I assume they're going to keep pushing to play for the Frank Gansz trophy.

I'm not saying we WILL beat Navy — it doesn't look like a good matchup — but to suggest we can't is simply inaccurate.

I do believe, however, that we can beat the Merchant Marine Academy.

I went to the service academy ball in Dallas last year. Each service academy marched in their local cadets. The Merchant Marine was the only one not even pretending to march.
