Actually, Peruna is deemed to be one of the NCAA's top real animal mascots - Top 25 in everything we do.

Got some kick-a$$ mascots in there. All the Bulldogs are great, but there's too many of 'em - great name for Yale's mascot. Gotta love Ralphie, the Colorado Buffalo.
Woo Hoo! Great representations in there, just gotta find a way for some frat boys to start stealing 'em again.

Seriously - here we have the perfect example of why we need to just stop messing with stuff.

An outside, unbiased observer has Peruna in the top live mascots in college football.

UniWatch voters voted our uniform the BEST among non-AQ schools.

We have a really great thing going with our traditions and presentation - and other people who aren't so close to the program see this as well.
