Over the past two months we have shown up on 15 to 20 BIG MEN lists, maybe more. I understand not all of these guys are high STAR rated and some may have grade issues but.... There is no reason why we/SMU should not sign 10 to 14 big linemen this year.

IMHO this is the year that will prove that SMU is alive and kicking. Win 4 or more games and recruit a HERD of BIG MEN.

I've got Stephens a little lighter than that -- in the 280-285 range -- but he's very much on the radar screen at SMU. The Mustang coaches are well aware of him and his ability. And if he can cut it academically at Dallas Jesuit, qualifying should not be a problem, should they choose to make him an offer.
