Make sure when you are stabbing peruna in the back you wish him a HAPPY 85TH Birthday, this Monday...

Also, remember that it was students who wanted him as the mascot and not some crazy woman with no affiliation...

Don't forget your knee pads...

Madeleine A. Pickens (born March 5, 1947[1][2] in Lebanon) [3] [4] is an American businesswoman who owns Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California [5].

She is also a Thoroughbred racehorse owner/breeder and an animal welfare activist and philanthropist who has earned a black belt in the martial art of Taekwondo.

Born Madeleine Baker of an English father and a Lebanese mother, she did modeling and worked as a flight attendant for Pan American Airlines before going into business for herself, providing cabin service crews for corporate jets and special charter flights. She moved to the United States in the 1970s where she made her home in Marina del Ray, California and went into business for herself. Her daughter, Dominique Richter, was born in 1980.

The only thing that would make it better is if you had to walk behind them. :)

Personally I just love the argument that the players rally around whatever the mascot is. If you need the presence of an animal you have no personal connection to, regardless of what it is, to get pumped up and go out on the field and destroy another team, well...that's pretty sad. Yeah, so since two guys on horses rode out before us, I'm just THIS MUCH MORE JACKED UP TO WIN A CONFERENCE TITLE. DO IT BABY, DO IT!

EXACTLY.....so keep the geldings until JJ heads back to the islands, at which point the BUS gameday menu can include 'special' burgers
