The Florida Panthers almost one it a few years back.

And while I want the Stars to win it again, I was kind of hoping Calgary would win it. For the good of the game, I think a Canadian team needs to win it once in a while.

How weird is it going to be when you look at the cup and you see "Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings .... Tampa Bay Lightning?" Something just doesn't feel right with that.

Damn, I'm going to miss hockey next year.

I truely dont think people realize how hard it is to win the Stanley Cup.
It is the hardest to win in all of sports including College Football. You have to make the playoffs..then 2 months of the playoff you have to have your best game for 2 dead straight months. Its crazy how good they have to be.

Florida in 96, Washington in 98, Buffalo in 99, Carolina in 02, Anaheim in 03, Calgary AND Tampa Bay in 04.

Anybody can make the Cup Finals on any given night as long as you bring your best game.
