He is tied with several for the Most Interceptions with 2 and easily leading the league in Passes Defended with 11. The next highest player has only 5. He also has 14 tackles including 1 Sack

wow thats a lot of passes defended compared to the others.

I hope he makes it back we could really use him at corner!!!!

Gamble added an Interception(3rd) and a Pass Defensed(12th) to continue to lead the league in both categories. He also added 1 tackle(15 for season)

Gamble again was named as one of the top players of the week. Two more passes defensed and 7 tackles

What I can't figure out is why he doesn't have a reported offer from SMU at this point. Is that just the recruiting services missing the ball on an unranked recruit, or is it possible that there's an offer and acceptance and nobody is talking about it?

Rivals has a JUCO scout that handles most JUCO recruiting. Don't know how they can really do that across the entire country. High school scouts get to see the high school players in their region much more often. JUCO football just isn't covered as consistently. How many of you knew there was a future Heisman Trophy Candidate playing at Blinn JC last year. If its possible for him to academically rejoin SMU and I don't see why not-then they probably just don't see the need in publicizing that fact until he gets the grades he needs. I would think under Progress Toward Degree requirements he probably needs to graduate from JUCO to return to SMU. ie probably wouldn't be availiable for Spring

Gamble now with 4 Ints and 29 Tackles on the season. He leads the SWJCFC with 18 passes defensed which is 7 more than closest player. He is tied for 2nd in Interceptions
