Don't know if this kid can play, but he has good height and OK speed, and he obviously has good blood lines.

And if I remember right, this guy's ready to suit up for the Mustangs - isn't Pearce the Mustangs also? And aren't their uniforms red and blue?

Any recruit who lists "medium interest" in Arkansas, Iowa State and the VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE is okay by me. VMI is basically a hellhole. Their team perennially stinks, but their staff generally doesn't go after a kid if they don't think he can hack a "Lords of Discipline"-type lifestyle. My gut tells me this kid would look just fine in a Mustang uniform.

Sounds like he's already "geared up" to play for the Ponies!

Maybe Cliff's pal Charlie Waters can put in a good word for the Ponies. We know he liked SMU at one point...when he wanted to coach 'em.

I'd have to agree with you. Besides, I imagine his dad has taught him a thing or two about work ethic. I really like his height for a CB (see Jonathan Lindley.)
