Why didn't he continue returning kick offs after his 62 yd return to open the game?

Is he hurt?

I'm not sure if anything happened to Acker. June Jones said on the ticket pregame that he is letting Aldrick Robinson return kicks the last 3 games so he gets some returns on film for NFL teams.

Another bright spot in yesterday's game was the improvement of our return game. Better ball handling, called for fair catches at the right time, and a couple nice returns.

This question was asked of Derrick Odum at the lunch today, and he said you'd have to ask Coach Jones or Coach McKnight (i.e. Acker's not hurt).

I was not impressed with Robinson's outing as a returner. What's a nice way to say pussyfooting around? I can't think of one, so: he was pussyfooting around.

The return game was MUCH better - kickoffs and punts. Acker should stay in there based on what I've seen. Fields has done a nice job but he's been hurt lately. Crawford looked very comfortable back there and did a great job compared to what we've seen. DJ and Bennie Thomas have lost the job.
