Mustangs are not doing so well. One commitment and it is soft. Word is Chris Hall has some major offers and is starting to waver on his commitment to SMU.

Is Bennett's 3-21 record a factor?

A little. How many commitments did we have at this time last year? Vincent Chase and .... anyone? No need to panic. The trend, obviously, is for more and more schools to try to stockpile early commitments, and the big schools (plus baylor) seem to be leading the charge on that. Traditionally we haven't offered as many early on as other schools have, but I would bet this trend will force that to change, that we'll offer more guys earlier in the recruiting schedule.
