Seriously? Luck? So by that logic, let's just say that Texas Tech, TCU, Houston, Navy and UTEP all "lucked out" against us.

And how exactly would you just "let Tulsa go"? Stop playing? Throw the remaining games? We are ahead of Tulsa and we deserve to be ahead of Tulsa.

The bottom line is that we need to beat ECU. Beat ECU and all this bickering and arguing over who killed who is not necessary.

Yes, THANK YOU! As of now, if Tulsa deserved to be ahead of us, they would have beaten us when they had the chance. As of next week, if they win and we lose, they deserve to be ahead of us. Other than those 2 scenarios, they don't deserve anything ahead of us.

To suggest otherwise borders on treachery.

The perfect scenario is:
Extra practice time for the CUSA title game.
Extra practice time for the bowl game.

I don't know you and you don't know me, and I am not one to post thing on here just to post things. But I take real offense to you implying things that simply aren't true, weren't written, etc. or that I want us to lose. Ask anyone who knows me, or those in the athletic dept. who call asking for more money, if I want us to ever lose.
I am not going to continue to argue because I do know you are a fan and I do not enjoy that anyway. But, your exact words were " Rather beat Marshall, lose to ECU and stay home at 6-6 for the Armed Forces Bowl."The words indicating a desire for a loss are there and that is what upset me. Hopefully we are now all on the same page realizing that a loss could actually mean no bowl. Hope to meet you some day. Drinks are on me.

All I'm saying is they are better than SMU right now. That's my only point. Not agreeing with Pony SA. Yes smu was very lucky to win that game like Very lucky to block so many kicks last yr and beat ECU at home. A lot of teams were better last yr too. You guys are too sensitive.

I can understand how you would read it that way and why you would be upset, but please don't doubt that I bleed red and blue and do all I can financially, emotionally and otherwise for our teams to be a success. Whenever the school has called whether it be when Copeland and Cavan first came with the plans for Ford Stadium and needed meeting space at Sonterra Country Club to raise funds, to being asked to write an additional check for the Crum Center, I have responded. I don't sit and post all day but responded today only because I felt you doubted my desire for our players to win or that I wanted the best for SMU. Nothing can be further from the truth. Let me be the one to buy you a drink, hell even dinner, and we can talk more about my passion for this special university. I welcome the chance to break bread together and share a drink with other pony fans like you who want the best for our team and our players.
