Plz Replace Coach "D"

Plain and simple, IF you don't replace coach "D" then you'll have only the 10 fans in the stands and continue to lose to TCU, and others by 20, which can not happen ANY more. Make the change before it's too late.

I appreciate your dedication to the team, but here's a question I pose to everyone. Why would the average SMU student attend a SMU bball game? I know people might jump down my throat, that "this is their school, and they should support it." I completely agree with that sentiment, but far too many SMU students are apathetic in the first place, and seeing us getting blown out by TCU does not help one bit in the hope of attracting fans/students.

I ask myself that question all the time when I am in the stands. Seeing the lack of student support and new alumini support is discouraging. Maybe I'm just an old fart but the school was good to me and the City of Dallas. No complaints when I played on the floor.

Which is what I said and completely agree with. Unfortunately, many students do not share PF's love for SMU athletics.

SMU students suck as bad as the team. Games are going on whether their front-running arses care or not. Attendance doesn't float the program's boat, it's pretty clear. They don't seem to care about dwindling numbers

Please...we ALL know the games and this years attendence will be ridiculously spotty this year and we also know that the competition will be bad in OOC play......lets NOT state the obvious all year....Doh ain't going anywhere we all know.

Or maybe the team has discovered something. After the loss to UC-Riverside, I thought they'd lose by 20 (minimum) to Lamar, which looked decent. I didn't see the game (was watching the soccer game), but we won by 30 or so? Scored 100 points?

Coach D isn't going anywhere, if only because of the hype surrounding next year's recruits. We'll be maddeningly inconsistent at times, but I think he's safe.

If the students aren't showing up, it's their loss. Be the bigger person. Never bail on your team.

Maybe all the boosters who are claimed to have Doh's back wouldn't mind kicking in 25-40k each per year to make up for the loss in attendance/revenue during his abortive tenure here.
Really- doh must go.

Seriously, what else can we do? Coach Doh is a high profile name, previous Coach of the Year, recruited a championship class at UNC, coached ND, has real recruiting momentum here now.

It is a work in progress, I am frustrated with how slow it has been, but I think it is heading in the right direction and I do not want to pull it down again and start all over.

I think he can get the job done, it may take 3-4 more years, but I think he can do it.
