How about we add "Special Teams Coordinator" to his title, since McKnight isn't getting it done

Pump the breaks on the head coach in waiting stuff. Klemm is only in his third year on the Hilltop and second year of coaching.

I don't expect JJ to get rid of Knght. He really needs to move him to a responsibility that better fits his talents. Wonder if JJ has ever thought of hiring Frank Gansz' son who I believe is also a coach.

GO PONIES!!!

Don't know if Jr has the same loyalty to June as Sr did (or any at all), or if he'd bail on UCLA for SMU. He has put together some nice ST units during his time as a coach (in both college and the NFL).

Pay raise, absolutely!

I absolutely hate the concept of "head coach in waiting". It has caused problems at both Florida State and Texas, IMO.

We are neither Florida or Texas, and we know JJ isn't going to want to stay around till he is 80 like Pterno, Mack Brown, or Bowden...

Lets give him more responsibilities and a better title....it works at most companies and it should work here...

We aren't? Color me surprised! The minute you name a successor within your own coaching staff is the minute some folks will start calling for him to take over the reigns. It's an absolutely stupid ploy. Personally, I don't give a crap what my title is at work as long as it came with a fat salary.

Recruiting is the lifeblood of any program and Coach Klemm is doing a really good job at it. If our OL was not making those large holes goes Zach to run through he would not be close to 1000 yards. Coach Klemm has done a really good job with a OL that is not that talented. If we had a scatback to compliment Zach we might have had two 1000 yard rushers this year IMO. I am truly glad Adrian Klemm is at SMU.
