I for sure brag about our 3 ships and 1 Heisman when talking to my friends that went to the big boy schools.

In the world of what have you done for me lately, it's a nice card to be holding. Can't count the number of times I've beaten back ridicule from friends with the backhand of "Say, who has more Heisman winners, national championships, NFL, and CFB hall of famers than you? Oh yeah...SMU. Bite me." Still doesn't mean we're in the Big 12 now though..

According to the ECU fan preview this is the 75th anniversary of our first National Championship. I haven't heard one word from SMU recognizing this huge Anniversary...just shameful.

I haven't aired my grievances to the athletic department because I've been in transit all day and the first time i heard about this was in said transit. I probably won't end up contacting the AD because over the past few years when I have sent missives, both angry and civil? Ive never received a response.

I don't write big checks so they don't care what I have to say.

How's that article relevant? I generally appreciate and like your articles and cartoons, but don't understand your stance on this issue. You must work for the athletic department because this is an open and shut case of SMU not putting in the effort.
