In Greenville tonight

Postby carolina stang » Thu Nov 25, 2010 10:58 pm

I made the drive up from our home in Greensboro this evening. About three hours or so. A very quiet town on Thanksgiving night. I swear all one can hear is crickets. The calm before the storm. No Cal Pony is heading over from Raleigh tomorrow to join us for the game. I have been so busy with work, so I hadn't checked who else might be coming to the game. We bought our tickets from the SMU allotment. We'll try to cheer on the Ponies to victory!! Game forecast is cloudy with PM showers 72 high. Cold front comes in tomorrow night and temperature is falling to 34. Ponies hopefully long gone by then with a W.
Hello to all back in Big D and elsewhere and hope all had a great Turkey Day.

Thanks for update. That cold front you mentioned is here in Dallas - 29 degrees later tonight.

Enjoy the 74 degrees and root us on to victory tomorrow.

Hey Alex. I have had trouble getting pm's to go through and wanted to thank you: Thanks again for the beer and conversation when my son and I stopped by pony fans at the Houston game. Better outcome in the offing tomorrow!

carolina stang,
I hope you have a blast with the outcome better than the '89 Arkyland game. If possible, give us a live view of the environment and game. Wish I was there with you to pull for the Ponies.

Yeah we almost had them until that late 4th quarter comeback in Little Rock!

I''ll try to get some pictures before the game and post. I'll be too nervous during the game.

Hope you and your family had a great turkey day!
