I'm going to hold off on my excitement about Polite until learning how fast he is (although it looks like he has good size, and his production is certainly impressive .... although you have to consider his level of competition).
At the risk of sounding like a BUS desciple, I'm more intrigued by Lewis. That's the kind of size we want as guys walk on campus. For too many years, we were signing OLs who were in the 250-260 range, and told "they'll grow." When you get guys who are showing up at 290 or 300 or more, that's when Coach Faucette and his staff can mold them into some real monsters. If that assistant coach is accurate that he's receiving attention from those big schools, there might be some real talent in that big guy. Worth keeping an eye on, to be sure. Rise up, Mustang Nation!
Go SMU!
Insiders has Polite listed at 4.55. Considering the standard inflation by HS coaches, that means he's between a 4.6 and 4.8, by my guess. In which case, is he fast enough to play RB?
