Re: Nervous NelliesSpare me you self appointed genius. You also have been quoted as saying Cole Beasley was nothing more than a below average receiver and we'd all rue the day we passed on Todd Dodge. Go back to Red River and pick up some white trash skank you knowitall third rate Tek grad lawyer.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Nervous NelliesStalllion calling fans give-up garys is like the pot calling the kettle black. No one has been more critical of some things SMU than he has. A true turncoat, who if you look closely you will see burnt (cow patty) orange under his professed red-blue colors.
GO PONIES!!!
Re: Nervous Nellies"No one has been more critical of some things SMU than he has"
You are damn right-I am so damn proud of that too-and if SMU hadn't changed their Model 3 years ago to address each and every one of those criticisms that I pointed for at least 12 years on SMU boards then you'd be sitting on your [deleted] posting about the Basketball team right now and June Jones would never have left Hawaii. Re: Nervous NelliesIt's because of Stallion that they are winning

Yes, we should all be genuflecting in his general direction. Not sure how to do that with my backside, though. Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
Re: Nervous NelliesI actually agree with Stallion. I quit reading ponyfans during the game because so many people had given up so early. Go back and read the posts. I am not talking about discontent or frustration. I am talking about people that just gave up. Auburn showed what having confidence and faith can do when you get behind. What we did today is what championship teams do and I am proud to have watched them overcome adversity and bad play to come together at the end and win. Some of you need to drop your hatred of Stallion for just a moment and realize that sometimes he speaks the truth. Then you can go back to hating him if you so desire.

Re: Nervous Nellies
Nervous Nellie apparently has an 'outtie'. With all the joy about 'Stallion-bashing', I am VERY thankful the day after Thanksgiving for the Circle of Champions... I think he just may be right about this one, and the 'model' adaptation 3 years ago...adapted, not solved until Admissions gets on board with timely notification for student-athletes as well as non-student-athletes. stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse
Re: Nervous NelliesStallion is a blow hard - but he us usually correct. I know its annoying, but you have to just deal with it.
Re: Nervous NelliesWhatever, fans react in their own way...for some to get pissed is a natural reaction....
Go back and read the thread...notice that everyone who complained continued to post the entire game.... those fans don't give up they just get frustrated and for a lot of people having all that emotion is what it is all about....
Re: Nervous Nellies
I HAVE to agree...this is the worst, or one of the worst teams in NCAA football in defense ( ECU) and we couldn't score but 3 against them for almost all of the first half????? That was why many of us were disgusted with the O for most of the game......if you were ANY type of QB you would have to be darn right excited to play against such a poor D like this and we couldn't muster any O?...Kyle is very inconsistent right now... Look at those scores above and tell me why we wouldn't be a little irritated by what was happening during the game.....Kyle was missing very easy passes that any HS QB would make in any Spring 7 on 7 play....then he would make difficult passes...perplexing indeed. We should have scored 60 on these guys...... BUT, great job in OT!
Re: Nervous Nellies
Careful there, hoss - that's a real big two-way street you're going down. Athletics needs to plan ahead a little better and stop expecting to get their student-athletes (not just football, mind you) instantly pushed through Admissions with only days to go before classes begin each fall, AND expect them to have on-campus housing, too. Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
Re: Nervous Nelliessome factor might be that UAB, Rice and UCF were played on the Road. Navy executes the running game like no one else-plus didn't ECU give them the ball on turnovers 4 times inside their own 30. I definitely remember something like that. Padron also played much of the game with a TE as an Inside Receiver with Johnson not playing.

Re: Nervous Nellies
don't give ECU credit, they were giving up 40 pts a game. No excuses in the 1st half.
