Over the summer I believe he will somehow... get the adjustment on his passing motion to enable him to feel the short pass better and maybe work off some of the wind up.

Losing Emmanuel Sanders would be difficult for any quarterback. Losing Wilkerson, as well, makes his job all the harder. Adjusting to a new running back is another challenge.

I have enjoyed Padron's success this year, but have at times been frustrated with the lack of consistency. Just as I hope this best for all SMU's players, so do I hope the best for Padron. With his experience, one would hope next year will be a strong year for him. If it is not, June Jones has options, although one doubts it would come to such.

It will be amazing to see what he does over the next couple of years once he is able to develop all of his throws and completely absorb this offense. Padron, Line and this offense are really going to set our expectations high next year. In the mean time, keep on winning and breaking records!

Don't remember any INTs this game

Edit: (by Padron - just in case someone might forget the subject is about Padron)

I do-it was the difference in the game. But seriously Padron did well in the three essentials. 3 TDs, no interceptions and I forgot the exact numbers but we converted a very high percentage on 3rd down.

3rd down conversions in this game stood out when I glanced at the stats after the game.

I know we were 10 of 15 towards the end of the game on 3rd down.

Good point. He missed several easy throws on first and second downs, but made some outstanding plays when we needed them on third down. Hopefully his ankle will not be an issue come next Saturday.

Most idiotic post I've read in a while. You don't pull out your QB that's led you all year, has nearly 30 TD passes, and well over 3000 yards to go to your backup in a game that means as much as this one did.

Absolutely spot on. This kid is a Warrior. Compare him to fellow soph Gilbert at Texas - - Padron would excel at Texas because he is a winner who does not fall apart when he makes a mistake. Just picks himself up and gets ready for the next play. Mustangs fortunate to have Padron.

Anybody want to swap 2 star Padron for 5 star Gilbert?

Made about 3-4 3rd down plays on that one drive. Huge throw/catch by Holleman.

Not sure what happens in the game - I guess he gets hyped up - overthrew everyone in the 1st half. ARod was open on several occassions and Beasley. We could have opened it up.

Great finish and tough kid with the ankle injury. About 50% of the snaps he has to catch off center which delays the play.

No, but I'd be interested to see what June could do with Gilbert.
