Tennesse up by 10 with 9 minutes left so CUSA may still be in play for Liberty Bowl. Georgia would also have to beat Georgia Tech tonite.

is playing a big 12 or big 10 team at the cotton bowl out of the question now? i suppose so if both already have enough teams bowl eligible.

yes as long as the Big 10 gets two BCS schools-and that's looking pretty definite with Ohio St and Michigan St already in the house with victories-11-1 Co-Champs and Wisconsin likely to win

UGA is favored by 2 TDs, is at home at night, playing against a GT team that is playing its backup QB. UGA will roll. We are safe.

I guess its bad Karma II to discuss what happens if SMU wins and Liberty Bowl hints that if June really really wants to go to Hawaii......The bad part about this is that whatever team ends up in Hawaii they are only get less than 3 weeks to make plans. Probably cost $300-500 more. If that is the plan I wish they just go ahead and give out bowl bids now. Otherwise, once this Georgia game is over-make a clear statement that the Liberty Bowl will take the Champion.

Crazy situation indeed.....we are not going to know anything for at least another week and if its Hawaii that makes it worse because of timing for travel and limited practice time for a team with limited depth and injuries that need time.

What about Army's slot in the AFB? If Army is eligible, they replace CUSA, no?

Tennessee did win and so did Georgia.....what does this mean?

This is all hoping that we win next week, of course....

Its the opposite, if no C-USA team is available then Army takes the spot.

Ponyscott and XC,

aware of that, thanks for pointing out the obvious now that we are 1 or 2. Was trying to get a response from those who posted last week that liberty had no interest in us winning and n/o would not want us either.

Silence from them since
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

Actullay the "travel well" factor is not as big to the bowls as people think. The bowls make the schools buy so many tickets that the bowl is going to make money. If a school does not "travel well" it is a bigger problem to the school and it's conference than it is to the bowl.
