It's really a POS when your bball program has to get excited about beating schools like Cent. Ark. and Wayland Bap. I suspect Orsini created this powder puff OOC schedule in an effort to keep from having to fire our charlatan of a bball coach. How pathetic.

Obviously, neither of these teams are any good, but I found myself entertained. Hard not to cheer for this team. Poor Pap has to average like 25 & 10 for us to have a chance vs low mids, even low majors, at home. Probably not the senior year he envisioned, but in the improvement category, he's become a much better passer out of the post.

None of this even bugs me cause the roster is legit next year. I can calmly cheer on Harp to contribute late, as he did today, as opposed to yelling at the screen. Haynes and Nyakundi are the only guys off this team in the trimmed rotation next year. Glad to see Rob asserting himself and rounding himself as a scorer. Haynes played better today, especially in a crucial stretch, but to say he's been disappointing wouldn't be a stretch. That sid, he looked ok running the point today. That's a look Ryan Manuel is going to give.

The roster may be legit next year but unless we have a new coach it will just turn out to be the same of POS that it has been for the last 4 years.

Tough to say, but we'll have the most kids w/high major offers or interest, than we've had since Dements best years. I'm certainly not saying the roster next year should save Doh, but as an SMU fan, talent & systems have been addressed.

I believe that we have had some talent in the last 4 years. It is obviously questionable if we had a real system and certainly didn't have a coach that could put it all together and get us the wins. To put it mildly this last 4 years has been a failure.

"Robo-Doh and top 25 recruiting class..." wait that was four years ago.

Actually I have to believe the incoming class is better than the one back then that was only rated high based on 7 recruits.

Attendance was rather bleak.......maybe 300. Then again it was a holiday weekend.

We've never had top half talent in CUSA under Doh, never. Doh deserves all the roster grief he gets, but next years roster is by far the most talented, regarded, and balanced positionally. Whether than means results, who knows? Still need another big, IMO. Its a top half in CUSA roster next year. at least

attendance announced at 1247 compared to 1283 against Wayland. Few walk ups today and I'm guessing this means we sold about 1200 season tickets. The 1500 will have to be revised to the 1200

Entertaining game today. It will be nice to have some length & athleticism @ the guard position next season. Will make a huge difference when it comes to opposing teams jacking up 3's. Its been easy to shoot over Doh's midget guards. Surprised driving home after the game to hear Doh rip Dia on the post game. Said he didn't play well because he had 5 to's. Strange comments considering he just put up 24 & 10. What a motivator! Also, I thought RN had his best game of the season. On the negative, Jfrog got abused by the CA guards. Honestly don't think he would see the court if he was on the CA roster. Just don't see it. Regardless, fun game & great to get a W over a scrappy CA team.
