Stallion's Interesting Fun Fact

Postby Stallion » Mon Nov 29, 2010 11:13 pm

UCF hasn't beaten a team with a winning record this year. SMU beat Tulsa and hmm.

Interesting Fun Fact No. 2-SMU has beaten only 1 school with a winning record

Pretty amazing for UCF an "alleged Top 25 team" (they aren't)

Mustangs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog.
Mustangs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on grass.
Knights are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a favorite.

Hope we are practicing on grass. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I am not so concerned how we do against the spread. Would rather win than cover.

Exactly right. It's not even close.

As a comparison, take a look at #20 Florida State. The average Sagarin of the opponents they beat is 68, the best being Florida at 27.

The average Sagarin for the teams UCF beat is 134, the best being East Carolina at 78.
