For the kind of offense we run I have been disappointed in the WR talent we have attracted to date - imagine this offense with a Blackmon (OSU) type receiver. I know those guys go BCS - but i would think we could have snagged a couple of physical big fast receivers by now. might be a JC option to think about out there.
I didn't mean Al's replacement at WR...I meant Al's replacement as a go to guy. Right now it seems like he is the third person padron looks to. Next year, he will be the first or second guy.
By the way, slots do run deep routes too (deep posts and flags for big gains) DJ has done this numerous times.
