Last year they had replica Keylon Kincade jerseys. Anyone know if they're going to have any jerseys this year? And if so, whose? My vote is for a #14 Adami jersey, but I'd like to see several from which to choose. (And make them replicas, meaning not a million bucks.)

Has anyone been by the store lately? Any cool new stuff this year, or basically the same as last year?

I saw Bob Sharp (owner of the Spirit Shop and former SMU cheerleader) a couple of weeks ago at church. He said they'll be getting more jerseys in as the season nears. Those red ones you saw were leftovers from last year with KK's number on them, I believe. I put another bug in Bob's ear that he'd make a LOT of $$$ if he did some retro shirts/jerseys with Doak Walker's number (37) on them as well as other famous Mustangs like Kyle Rote, Don Meredith, Craig James, Eric Dickerson, etc. :)

100% agree with the retro...should have the team do a 35-40's (doaker era) retro once a yr for a game!

that would be great!

no other team in the country (today) has unis like the ones we had back then.

Here are the jerseys (albeit not exactly retro) that I'd like to see (post-DP):
Chris Bordano
Ramon Flanigan
Luke Johnson
Michael Bowen
Jason Wolf (the permanent SWC career receptions leader)
Jacoby Rhinehart
Kenny "Sugar" Rea
Bill Keily

I want a Russell Carter jersey, a Louis Kelcher jersey and (yes, seriously) a Steve Reindl jersey.

If they want to make some money they should sell some of the white helmets instead of these crappy blue ones.

So are you still going to have this hang-up about blue helmets when the new look is unveiled? Supposedly they're going to be a little different this year.

How about a reversible Hixon/Ford jersey? One side is Hixon and the other Ford. Both lead the nation in Total offense. These are '10s' even Bo Derek could be proud of.

I'd buy a Vic Viloria jersey in a minute.

And what about composite photos of Ponies in the NFL? Have a framed SMU shot and a Cowboys shot side by side for Donald Mitchell (or Rams/SMU for KG, Cardinals/SMU for Rhinehart, etc.) Maybe get a few of them autographed, too!

At the games, you see people (family members, I assume) wearing T-shirts with the name and number of a particular player. Where do they get these? Are these available in the spirit shop?

No, those are not available in the Spirit Shop. Those are special orders for family members only.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am now the proud owner of a game used Keylon Kincade jersey from last year. Got it for not much more than they sell those replicas for in the spirit shop, so I would reccomend people check out ebay for great deals on authentic unis.

That's what I want. A player jersey from an 0-12 team. What was that website again?

That's kind of unnecessary, don't you think? For all our struggles last year, Kincade played his heart out. I'd be proud to wear a KK jersey.
