I want to know why an out of town, unemployed, hippie, golfing lawyer has all these uniform musings and implied knowledge of future attire.

We will probably play in the A.F.B. at Ford, it will look really stupid to wear black

Who is the home team in the ASB? If it is Army (they are armed service), they would be wearing black.
