Have we considered Darryl Dickey in the coaching hunt? He won his last five games at UNT, won the Sunbelt Conference and is going to the New Orleans Bowl.

No, we haven't considered DD. Great guy, but ....

- Cavan's made late-season pushes before
- UNT's competition is even worse that SMU's, so winning last 5 isn't that great
- SMU alums would have a heart attack if Copeland had to explain getting a coach from UNT

I would have a heart attack if we hired a coach from UNT. No national media, nothing. Come on guys think big.
