SMU Bowl Tickets, Let's DO THIS!!!

Postby SMUer » Sun Dec 05, 2010 4:40 pm

How does one get these tickets? Do I call Terry Hemme when the office opens at 9:30am tomorrow? Will they take earlier or is there some other way?

The SMU Ticket Office will be taking orders for bowl tickets starting Monday, Dec. 6. Tickets will be allocated based on SMU's Priority Points system, and the deadline for ordering with priority seating will be Friday, December 10th, at 5 p.m. After this deadline, tickets will be allocated and orders will be fulfilled. Any remaining tickets would then be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets ordered through the SMU Ticket Office will be located in Mustang fan sections, which are designated by the bowl. For more information or to place an order, call 214-SMU-GAME (768-4263).

The fan section designated by the bowl admin should be interesting.
And if you find out you dont want to sit in the end zone you can always try ticket outlets such as ticketmaster and stubhub.

Does anyone know if the Ticket Office is planning to take calls earlier than 9:30 on Monday?

It won't be sold out by 9:30

If you have to have tickets this week you can buy them from the Army site for $40

All tickets purchased will be within Army's allotment of tickets at the stadium and we will seat based on priority point total or USMA class year until December 13th. After this date all tickets will be sat based on date of purchase. For every game ticket purchased or donated you will receive one (1) "A" Club priority point.

Buy your tickets form SMU. We have to pay for our allotment, so if you buy from some other source SMU you will cost SMU money, because the school has to eat the tickets it does not sell.

I would buy only from SMU, but for different reasons. I wouldn't feel great about taking the seats of a possible armed service member.

I am a little worried about being able to get tickets as I am low down on the priority points schedule. This was my 1st year as a season ticket holder. I had 2 seats in a non-donation section and had my tickets scanned for all games. With family & friends in town for the holiday, I'll be trying to buy 9 seats. Any opinions?

I just called the ticket office and got a recording from June Jones saying to leave name and number and they would call back. I am trying to buy 6 tickets and am not too high on the priority list either.
When will I start feeling stimulated??
