It's just McMurry (no State)

Believe it's so Ryan Harp can play in front of a hometown crowd.

I have wondered that about nearly our whole schedule so far, which is why I have attended only 1 game so far. Can't find anyone interested in going with me to see these "quality" teams!

Its because we were supposed to play home and away in the same season with Fred McMurray State....we did this last year with Texas State. Some kind of scheduling problem prevented the home game at SMU.
Road trip...guys? ;-)

It's something Doh brought from the ACC...kind of a tradition to schedule a game with the "local" school for graduating seniors. Papa got his trip a couple of summers ago

Sorry, I got it confused with Alabama State and Southeast Missouri State

Seriously, I couldnt make up better names. Dallas Christian...Southeast Central West Texas State?

its a great thing to do for out of state players, but abilene is just 3 hours away from Moody. His parents can come to most games. Plus, you don't do it if the only way to accomplish it is to play at Fred McMurry State. Good god.

I guess that explains why we played at St Johns last year during Derek Williams senior season.

Oh, wait...we didnt.

Maybe he had an uncle or something in LA, hence the Occidental game?
