Did you also see further down in the article that they are trying to get a 6th year of eligibility for Keenum? Doubt it will happen because his two years not playing were this (injury) and his original redshirt year. Since the original redshirt was not for medical reasons very unlikely to get a 6th year.

not surprising. Piland looked good in the game against us and a few others I saw. Someone has to lose out when you take 2 QB classes.

Right but he got the 2nd because the first was also medical whereas in Keenum's case the first was not medical and thus not the same as Shipley
