Got my call last night as well. Great touch. First time I have ever received a call from SMU when they were not asking for something. I was so surprised I was almost speechless. Loved it.

Missed mine. They left a message, and I, like SA Mustang, thought it was the office of development, but was pleasantly surprised.

I didn't answer my call - saw the 768 number and figured they were calling to ask for money.

It was Ashton Duhe. Very nice touch.

I picked up the phone to answer and it was not an athlete just someone asking me to double my donation

Received call from Patrick Flemming...what a delight...outstanding young man. I am so impressed with this call campaign. Whether or not they are looking for money, just a tremendous act of class. Nice job...SMU Atheletics.

My guess would be that most of the time you get a call from an SMU student-athlete it is a request for money. :lol:

I think the first athlete thank you call I got was from Tony Eckert a few years ago
