Uploading a new avatar

I went to change my avatar and am unable to upload a new one. The option isn't even there in the set-up screen. I can only choose one from the gallery.

What up with that?

I also want to load an avatar; however, cannot figure out how it is done. Tried several months ago to get the assistance of an administrator to no response avail. help.

I change mine occasionally and haven't had any problems until today. The set-up screen has changed. The upload option has gone away. It looks like we can no longer use personalized Avatars. We have to use the ones they have placed in the gallery.

Under the "User Control Panel" go to your "Profile" tab, on the left should be a tab titled "Edit Avatar".

Click on the "Edit Avatar" tab and you should have an option to "Link off-site: box" to post a link.

Size is important which I usually keep at 100 x 100.

Pass. I think that avatar would work better with who is in your state.

dude it took me forever just to find an avatar that fit the size requirement...all the better ones were a little bit bigger

there's a free app that will turn any .jpg into a file the size that's required..cant remember the site but it's out there. Upload. Choose pixel size. Save.

thank you for that...i will remember that when i want to change. I got this one from a childhood cartoon, not to be tied in with the child abuse thingy or molest thingy.
