Hey Thad......what is going to happen to all the footage you shot of SMU football during the 2009 season? I know you did a short segment ..."All Grit" I think (sorry I can't remember the title right now), but I was hoping to see more of that footage...perhaps in your "Exce$$" release. Are you planning to do a follow up film to "Exce$$" to show the team's journey thru the fall of 2009 on it's way to a Bowl Game?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: Hey Thad...Great question. At the very least throw it together and host another watching party for Ponyfans! I'm sure everyone wouldn't mind chipping in to rent the Lakewood again!
Re: Hey Thad...When in Hawaii for the bowl game - I missed seeing the show that aired previous to the bowl game.
How can I watch that? Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"
Re: Hey Thad...There was a line in the original trailer we saw months ago where Coach Gregg said something about "the NCAA will never hand it (the DP) out again — they don't have the guts."
Don't remember seeing it in the film at the premiere last week. Was it there and I just spent too much time at the bar beforehand? If not, how would that line, of all the choices, end up on the cutting room floor? I would think that quote HAS to be in the film, right? "Mass genocide is the most exhausting activity one can engage in .... next to soccer."

Re: Hey Thad...Why did Bus hit the floor is what I want to know!!
Re: Hey Thad...
I remember the scene you are talking about, but I don't remember Coach Gregg being in the film. Something I was going to look for too as I might have stepped out briefly when it was on at Lakewood.
Re: Hey Thad...
He was in it. You must have missed it. Derail the Frogs!
Re: Hey Thad...Great documentary. But, yes, that Forrest Gregg quote does stand out in its absence.
