As an anonymous poster, Diamond Tom is protected from any reprisal. He has provided a document that is equally anonymous, making tremendous accusations against individuals that are very public. This is not journalism, but irresponsibility driven by anonymity.
anyone w/ any viable hacking skills could find out who diamond tom is in short order. I have a feeling that he wouldn't recklessly post this w/o there being something to back it up...otherwise yes, this could have backlash of the legal variety. but i am being generous in trusting him, strictly speaking...this document needs a bunch more context.

No. That is not correct OTP. I don't really want to give too much information about where it came from. I'll say that it was given to me by someone who had a reason to have it. The reason was as legit as the list is. And you are correct that I am not anonymous. Many posters on this forum can point me out on the boulevard any given Saturday.

Tom asked me to get him a program from the Hawaaii bowl. I forgot and then dumpster dove a few cans on the way out with no luck. If anyone is willing to pay me $750 I will give you his email address

Even though your identity is known to some, it does not change that your identity is not attached to your accusations. Thus, you make those accusations anonymously. Unless you actually submit your name it does not change that. Do not think that having a few posters who know your true identity (and who are also anonymous) gives you a firmer foundation of credibility to stand upon. The argument of "I am not anonymous, you just do not know me" does not make sense.

OK Samurai. I have this cool piece of SMU History and wanted to share it with other Pony Fans. It makes no difference to me how you feel about it or about me.

The M in Ron Meyer also provides a pretty good match for the M in Carter, M.

Pretty interesting memo. I would guess its authentic ( why wouldn't it be?) and pretty accurate. Remember they got $ for per diem as well on a weekly basis for food and travel as well. Wonder who else paid these guys and who else got $....

From Dickerson's NFL Hall of Fame Speech... People like George Owens, who treated me like a son when I was at SMU. Who when things were tough for me, he’d sit and talk to me. When I couldn’t get back to Texas, back to Sealy, Texas, he’d talk to me. And I really thank you George, for that. http://www.profootballhof.com/hof/membe ... tab=Speech

Does anyone know about the recruiting of Hartnett? Why was he getting as much as Dickerson?

First Team Texas Football Blue Chip team as an OLM. He was very good college playerAll SWC-but SMU had a bunch. Watching that SMU/Arkansas game it was a amazing the talent we had on the 2nd and 3rd teams. I guarantee you that we had at a minimum 8-10 NFL players riding the bench.

There is one player on the list that I know for sure wasn't paid so this makes me wonder about how legitimate this lisi is.
