I shrunk these down so that you could see the notes in the right margin.

Several people with firsthand knowledge apparently have debunked this document as either fake, incorrect, or misleading. Can we delete it? Some people may not want this information related to themselves to come out.

no, what they have said is that this individual "didn't need it".

that does not say anything about whether this individual took money or not.

but to your last question...who cares? i mean really.

does anyone here look at those players differently? i sure don't. I think they're great, and no dollar amount large or small will change that.

No, we shouldn't delete it. That's all you do is scream to high holy heaven about getting something deleted because you think something is wrong or inaccurate based on what you have heard or fear of whatever you're in fear of. You can stop the suppression of free speech now.

If you're going to come out and say these people have first-hand knowledge, then I'm going to ask you the following:

1. How do they have first-hand knowledge?
2. How do they know the document is fake?
3. How do they know it's incorrect?
4. How do they know it's misleading?
5. And if they're saying all of these things, why are you suggesting that some of these people may not want it to come out? Becaus IT IS accurate? Or what are you saying?

It stays and should stay.

printing something as fact is one thing.
printing something as opinion is another.
if you are printing this as fact and it is not i hope you have an attorney.

Who said that George was the banker? I was the banker!

However, it might have been Bill Stevens that was terrorizing Baylor now that I think about it.

Why would this memo be written on Patriots stationery???? I seriously doubt Meyer would still have been involved once he left as I am sure he wasn't the only one who knew how much each player got. And to put it on NFL stationery?????? I might take this a little more seriously if it was on SMU stationery..........

How do you know it's not a fact?

I'm simply asking a question.

Everybody who has refuted this has come up with generalities and in my judgment has not produced anything concrete to support the lack of credbility of this document.

For the most part, I've read is "People say this is inaccurate" or "This is not a fact"
OK, great. Why?

So if we're really going to test the credibility of this document, then let's stop talking about it and let's really do this.

And if the Mods learn over time that the thread needs to be pulled, then that will be their call.

there's really no way for you to say that and have any certainty.
