Armed Forces Bowl merchandise update

Postby skyscraper » Thu Dec 16, 2010 8:18 pm

There are a grand total of 3 bowl t-shirts at the bookstore (at least as of 3 p.m.). All size L. Actually not that bad looking, but you have to search to even find them as they are hidden in the back part of the men's section.
Any new merchandise 'may arrive sometime in the next week.'

McCartney's put in their order a while ago, and it got delayed for some reason according to the girl on the phone I spoke with. They hope to get in their bowl stuff by this week, next Monday by the latest.

Now you know.

Do they still say that the game is in Fort Worth?

Completely forgot about that. I didn't look that closely after they didn't have my size.

Yes. "Minor" detail. I doubt the person who designed/ordered has a clue where the game is played and couldn't care less... be glad it doesn't read "Grand Prairie" or "Garland". Just line up and pay $21.98. I ordered mine from the Armed Forces Bowl website - has DALLAS in nice, big letters. :D

Yes, on the website, they have some pretty cool SMU bowl shirts. I ordered this one with the Dallas skyline and the Mustang for my nephew, who doesn't know it yet, but is coming down from Kansas with my mom to go to the game.

Two shirts (including one Army camo helmet b/c it looks cool) will be under the tree for SmooSon.

That's where I ordered mine. At least they got the name of the city correctly.

The only thing Fort Worth is good for is for a pit stop on the drive west.

Ordered the same shirt as Diamond M. Found they have charged my account twice for the one shirt. Be careful.
