I don't think he was committed to anyone but had visits planned to a couple of schools including a BCS school.

I didn't think so either. Based on the teaser I thought it would be Charles Burks, who is committed to USC.

I haven't checked rivals, but I think you guys are mixing two different stories reported today on scout (ponystampede).

There is Holloway who was uncommitted but has an official scheduled with a BCS school in Cali.

Separate from this is a story reported on the scout pay board of a big man in Cali who is committed to a Cali BCS school but has contacted SMU and is looking to take a visit.

Two different guys.

Rivals says DE 6' 5" 247, 4.6 40. Big guy and Fast for DE. New to football and lots of potential. Two personal ratings of 5 Star, but not yet rated by Rivals.
