I've long been an advocate of drastic changes in these rules which have been screwing sometimes innocent student athletes for more than a decade. I think you should be limited to a set number of recruits per year+ replacements for verified injured retirements+ recruits who turn pro early. If you recruit thugs or can't graduate the players you admit or you don't recruit quality student athletes-well that's your problem isn't it-maybe they shouldn't have been admitted in the first place. This one change would go a long way to returning the student in student athlete.
