Re: Kevin Galindo
Good for Josh if he's doing that. So who pays for his school this year and if us, does he count against our limit? I'm surprised you can become academically ineligible and still be around the team.

Re: Kevin Galindo
I really like the Galindo signing. With the whole line graduating after next year, it will be nice to have some Sr. Leadership on the line. I imagine he'll compete and get decent reps in 2011, and be groomed to take over in 2012. We're blessed with talented youth on the line, so bringing in a JUCO to help stabilize the transition is a great plan.

Re: Kevin Galindo
He's tall. He doesn't weigh as much as our line but these guys are all tall. I'm interested in how quickly you can catch up from the juco level

And isn't this a complete position switch?

Re: Kevin Galindo
on his highlight video, he primarily plays TE, but he did snap on special teams and i think he lined up at tackle once.

Re: Kevin Galindo
I would not call moving from a blocking TE to tackle a complete position shift. He should adjust fine.

Re: Kevin Galindo
i would agree given that all of his highlights at TE were blocking plays.

Re: Kevin Galindo
I can confirm. He's been practicing all year. I can't imagine going through that if he didn't plan on playing next year. Many consider him our best OL, so getting him back would be huge... literally.

I hope he likes eating, but we need him to beef up big time.
